Skills Lab with Nursing Students at MU!

CALEB the Science Club met with Nursing Students from Mizzou last Saturday and were able to get hands on experience in the Skills Lab! The kids had a great time checking vital signs on mannequins, learning how to "dress" a wound and learning how to help patients who might not be able to help themselves.

I couldn't help but notice one of our very active young boys jumping from room to room, and everytime I saw him he would say "That room was my favorite...no wait...that one. Hold on...I think I liked this station best!" Obviously he liked them all!! I think we might have a future doctor or nurse in our midst!

Spring-like Weather!

Finally! The kids were able to play outside without freezing! The staff and volunteers are BEYOND thankful for the beautiful weather we've been having. Let's just hope it continues!
